Kuilima Estates East is located on the world renown North Shore of Hawaii – 11 miles from the historic town of Haleiwa in the Koolauloa District of Oahu. Many of the world’s great surfing beaches are located along the two-lane road between Haleiwa and Kuilima Estates East. This area is “country” to the residents of Oahu and those of us who live in this community are treated to a wide variety of activities and experiences, absent from the urban environment surrounding the more populated areas of the island.
Our residents know there is something for everyone at Kuilima Estates East. Trails for hiking abound. You can walk along the ocean from beautiful Kewela Bay to Kahuku Point or inland along the border of the James Campbell National Wildlife Preserve. Albatross, Monk Seal and Honu (Green Sea Turtle) inhabit the area. Many rare bird species can be viewed in the Campbell Preserve. Water-sports enthusiasts can surf the waters adjacent to the Turtle Bay Resort or hit the famous Northshore beaches. Kayak, Stand-up Paddle or Snorkel at Kawela Bay. Walk to Golf at two World-Class Courses. Hang out at one of the two swimming pools on the property. Enjoy a round of tennis or pickleball on the two on-site sport courts. Our clubhouse, adjacent to the sport courts provides space for small parties and gatherings.
There are four restaurants open to the public at the Turtle Bay Resort, located about one quarter mile from our community. The surrounding area has lots of locally owned shops and eateries and is well known for its scrumptious food trucks and fruit stands. The world famous Polynesian Cultural Center and Kualoa Ranch are nearby and are popular attractions for visitors and residents alike.
Our community is privately owned and is comprised of 162 units. These include studio and loft, one and two bedroom luxury condos. Our community is governed by an elected Board of Directors and daily operations are carried out under the direction of our Resident Manager. We are fortunate to retain the services of Hawaiiana Limited to provide a full range of Property Management Services to our residents. We have a staff of two full-time maintenance experts. We contract with Aloha Aina for grounds and landscaping services and Apex Security for protection.
We are an access controlled and gated community. There are no personnel stationed at the gates so visitors should make arrangements for access ahead of time to avoid long delays that block access to the community. The property is pet friendly, however; there are strict rules that pet owners must abide by to ensure good quality of life for all residents.
